Solar energy PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANTS IMPLEMENTATION AND ASSISTANCE j The introduction in Italy of new incentives for photovoltaic plants, the so called “Conto energia” (D.M.28/7/05), definitely boosted up this market. The overwhelming number of requests to access the new incentives has been constrained by the solar module shortage, as well as the difficulty to find in the market qualified Installators to realize the solar plants, with competitive and certain schedules and costs. Savex experience in the Utility cost reduction arena (in this case electric energy), led to the creation of a series of services to support those customers wishing to realize a solar plant, leveraging the opportunity brought in by the new incentives. Customers are assisted from the initial step of paperwork to apply for incentives, to the continuous plant monitoring in order to assure full energy production rates. Savex performs the plant economic assessment as long as the design phase. Moreover, Savex supports the customer in searching the resources to fund the solar plant construction, to be returned back to Banks in 15-20 years, through the cashing of incentives. Solar plant contruction is realized by a pool of experienced and qualified Installers, which background is proved by a large number of plant implementations, including the one you might visit in Savex headquarter (electric power: 30 KW) Italian incentives to the implementation of photovoltaic plants are defintely attractive and profitable. However, since they are cashed in based on actual energy production (kwh), it’s importat that the solar plant keeps producing without interruptions. In the case of lower production due to a partial plant downtime it would be difficult to the customer assessing this production degrade, since the plant output itself significantly varies over the year, bringing to important income losses. To address this problem Savex offers to Customers a continuous monitoring service, to remotely measure and assess the health of solar plants, reporting to the owner the output, and properly addressing any issues to the Installers in order to be fixed. |
